You may remember Corinne and Justin from their epic destination engagement shoot in Las Vegas a few months back. They both live in Oklahoma City now, but met and dated in Las Vegas, so it made sense to all meet up in Vegas for their engagement shoot and to have their wedding here as well! I met Corinne and Justin through their fabulous wedding coordinator, Brit Bertino, who knew that we would all love each other at first skype:)
Corinne brought her girlfriend Cindy to do her hair and make-up for the engagement shoot and wedding and she was not only AMAZING, but she was a godsend! I feel like our scaling cliffs and running through oncoming traffic to hold a spotlight on the couple for me was just preparation for our intense 13 minute waterfall portrait session on their wedding day. We were racing the rain and sunset and piled in a car and raced to get the shots, but it was all worth it!
The wedding was held at The Hilton Lakeside, Lake Las Vegas, which for those of you that didn’t know Lake Las Vegas existed, it’s this beautiful oasis about 25 minutes from the strip that has a Tuscan-inspired village over looking a lake and mountains. They even built a replica of the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence, Italy, which was where Justin and Corinne had their ceremony.
After the ceremony and photos, the entire night was like The Grammy’s, with special musical guests like Kool and the Gang, different bands and performers, a song written and recorded by her Dad for their first dance, smokey effects for their first dance which looked like straight out of the final scene of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty when they danced, non-stop dancing and shenanigans at the slow motion video booth, but the grand finale was the conga line that took all the guests to another hidden room behind the stage for the Late Night dueling Piano Bar! As if the party wasn’t crazy enough with non-stop dancing, then Corinne’s Dad jumps on the piano and wails on the keys. It was insanely awesome!
Even though the party was non-stop and decor and lighting stunning (ps their paint-scaped cake was to die for. It was like a work of art!), the best and most beautiful part of the weekend was watching these two people who are SO in love with each other, get married. Corinne and Justin, you show everyone how relationships are supposed to be. It’s inspiring to be around! Love you guys and I can’t wait to hear about all of your travels to Asia on your honeymoon!
