I love shooting engagement shoots in Las Vegas, but I have to say after the crazy week of partying and working with these two, and the insane windstorm and rain that we had that day, I am amazed that we pulled it off! Karlee is from Las Vegas, so she knew all of the best sneaky spots to shoot. Our first look, we drove around and went to Lake Las Vegas where they have a replica of the Ponte Vecchio bridge from Florence, Italy and a giant waterfall that looks like you are in Hawaii. We then went over to the Smith Center where they have had “date nights” and there is this amazing Laura-esque color wall that I just lost my mind over. I was obsessed with Karlee’s red dress as well! Then for our grand finale, Andy Taurins assisted me with holding the light and we ended up getting permission to shoot by the Surrender pool at the Encore (which unfortunately I can’t post online, but they were AWESOME)…It was SUPER surreal to be in the club before it opened since we all had partied in there the night before for the comedy show. It’s amazing how Vegas can be so many things and constantly transform.
I had such a fun day running around the city capturing the pinterest cuteness of these two and just discovering new places in a city I have been to a million times. I can’t wait to shoot their upcoming wedding in California in November! WOPT reunion! Love you guys!
