Marwa & Hassan’s Century City Engagement Session
I can’t wait to shoot Marwa and Hassan’s Wedding at the Grand Del Mar this August with the fabulous Nahid Farhoud of Wedding Elegance and Bess Wyrick of Celadon and Celery! We have such a fun “dream team” of vendors for a two day wedding and it is going to be spectacular! I first met Marwa and Hassan on skype while traveling in New Zealand and I knew right away that they were such a cute, fun couple and that I wanted to shoot their wedding! We decided to do their engagement shoot around Century City and end up in Venice Beach…taking a pit stop at my new favorite “Life is Beautiful” Wall on La Brea Blvd. We cruised around in Hassan’s new Tesla and even drove it up on the curb for a shot! All day long people were cheering us on as we did our photo shoot. Even a whole school bus full of children at a red light were cheering for them…so adorable! At the end of the day, the clouds parted, the sun shone down on them like a beam of light and we finished up our shoot on a lifeguard tower. It became a tribute to one of their first dates where they picnicked on a lifeguard stand and brought everything back perfectly full circle!:) Then the sun set and their fasting for Ramadan was over and they were able to pig out…so I would say it was the perfect ending to a perfect shoot:)
