Allison and Brandon’s Wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara
I am FINALLY back from Bali and have been waiting to have good enough internet to be able to post Allison and Brandon’s Wedding blog!
Allison and Brandon I met through my good friend Tara Sterk, who was a bridesmaid in their wedding. You may remember them from our rainy NYC Engagement shoot a few months ago and ever since our shoot I have been SO excited to shoot their wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara. These two are hilarious and completely organized and on it, so I knew that every detail would be gorgeous and it was! Allison’s brother-in-law is Jason Scoppa who’s band performs at the famous Sayers Club in Hollywood (I actually sang there on my birthday), so I was SO excited to find out that their band was performing at the wedding! So the magical cocktail to have an insanely fun wedding is a combination of good people, good cocktails, good music, and a lot of love…and they had it all;)
Their ceremony was held out in the sunny garden under the Chuppah, and then all of the guests walked across the street to their satellite space literally right on the ocean for sunset cocktail hour and dinner. I LOVE shooting around the Four Seasons property in Santa Barbara ESPECIALLY during the magic hour late afternoon light. They have a labyrinth of walkways through lush, tropical gardens and you can just get lost (literally) in the beauty. Allison and Brandon had perfect sunny weather compared to the gloomy week before and it was like the stars aligned on this day for these two.
After dinner, everyone moved inside for non-stop dancing and cocktails and I even got my dance on with this crazy crew:) My favorite part of the night was the last song, “Madness” by Muse where Brandon got on stage and sang along! It was such an Epic song to end on and I think absolutely perfect! Congratulations to you both! I hope to see a lot more of you in NYC and hopefully back here in sunny LA!
