Hallmark’s Home & Family segment – Paige & Jason’s Elegantly Rustic Dream Wedding at Universal
Finally, the blog post you have been waiting for! Paige and Jason’s full photo gallery of their wedding extravaganza on the Home and Family Show that aired yesterday on the Hallmark Channel!! We had such a blast running around the Universal Studios Lot and getting into some shenanigans. First, they had their first look in Mexico (well at least the Mexico backlot:) and then finally arriving for their backyard wedding on the Home and Family Set which was transformed into a gorgeous “Barn-chic” style setting. Everything matched that theme, from the burlap aisle, to the hanging mason jar lights, to the monogrammed hand-made wooden dance floor, crates and stacked books all with their names branded into them, wild flowers everywhere, and my personal favorite their multiple wedding cakes that all had a wood theme to them as well. One of them even looked like their initials carved into a tree in icing on the side of the cake!
Paige and Jason have such an adorable story. They met on set years ago, so it was only appropriate that they get married on a set one day:) Jason is one of the four tenors of Aria, so he and his Aussie boys serenaded Paige on the dance floor and it was such a touching, emotional moment during the night. Other than their vows that brought everyone to tears, my favorite moment of the night was when they surprised everyone with their epic first dance. During the dance, Jason rips off Paige’s dress to reveal a shorter, hotter Dancing-with-the-Stars-style dress and they performed a choreographed routine learned from none other than fellow Dancing with the Stars Dancers! It has been an idea of mine for years to do a similar thing one day at my own wedding…Paige beat me to it!!
So a huge thank you to Kelli Hayden, for assisting me on what may have been one of the longest wedding days we have shot….but it was WORTH it for these epic photos and the fun we had with everyone on set! Love you guys!!
