Here is a sneak peek of Mia and Mike’s wedding at my FAVORITE location to shoot at on the west coast, the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse in Los Olivos. The rest of the images will be up by this weekend, so stay tuned! I have to give a HUGE thank you to Lori Yohe, who got up at 4:30am with me to make it to this morning wedding… and the drive up was MAGICAL. The mist was rising and we saw silver foxes running alongside our car on the 9 mile crazy windy road up to the farmhouse. It felt like we were in a fairy tale (or maybe I was still half asleep:). Mia looked AMAZING and had planned out every last detail. From the hanger to her dress, to the little veil for her dog, to the photo booth and props, to the hand painted wooden signs….it was all so perfect for a rustic wedding. One of the coolest things that I had never seen at a wedding before, was ONE LONG HEAD table for all of the guests. It was an amazing site to see over 100 people all sitting at one long table, that I had to take a shot from almost 50 yards away to fit the whole thing in my photo! I also HAVE to mention SBB Gourmet Catering, because they did such an amazing job and the food was so delicious that I couldn’t STOP eating! But the best part about this wedding was how close both the families were. It brought tears to both Lori and I. They all love each other SO much that you can’t deny it. The other thing that made me tear up was that they were leaving me behind to go on my DREAM trip for their honeymoon…on Safari in Africa. I am SO jealous! :), but I can’t wait to see all of your photos when you get back!
