Lisa and Ken’s Wedding at Rancho Sol Del Pacifico in Malibu
I HEART Lisa and Ken! I had been looking forward to their wedding since their epic engagement shoot that we had down in San Diego. I knew that they would be up for anything after we broke into their College Theatre Stage to get the perfect shot:) So when they told me that they were getting married at Rancho Sol Del Pacifico (one of my FAVORITE venues ever!) I insisted they use my power team of professional vendors. That, of course, is the fabulous Tara Dowburd-Luftman, (Make-up goddess), Pierre Chapat with Pierre’s Catering, and the incomparable SEED Florals. Also, I have the fabulous Jennifer Jasso as my photographer partner in crime! I fell in LOVE with their “Black and Yellow” theme to their wedding and will NEVER be able to get that song out of my memory LOL. Their ceremony and vows were one of the most heart-felt I have ever witnessed. It was like they both wrote them answering each other, without ever having shared their words….but my favorite highlight of the day was their band, POP SHOP. These guys were SO hilarious. They are a top 40’s cover band that is not afraid to dress in drag in order to perform the latest Lady Gaga and Ke$ha hits…amazing! As you can tell, the wedding rocked out all night to these guys and we ALL had a blast. Thank you so much Lisa and Ken for inviting me to document your most important day.
