Jennifer and James’ Engagement Shoot at the LA Arboretum
Jennifer, James and I hiked all through the LA Arboretum this past Sunday to shoot their engagement photos. I forgot just how VAST of a property it was and just how many rogue peacocks they have all over the place, but thank god for all of their gorgeous trees and shaded areas so we could escape the heat! Our second location was Lacy Park in San Marino where James proposed to Jennifer on a park bench. I had heard about this park, but never been so it’s always fun to check out new spots to shoot. We did a lap around the park, stopping at the rose garden, and then ending their shoot on the swings. It was great to hear their story and to get to spend the afternoon with them. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the Valley Hunt Club in October… one of my FAVORITE spots. Until then, here are some cute pics from Sunday!
