Frankie & Charlotte's Dreamy Miami Wedding
I am so honored to have been at Frankie & Charlotte's wedding to document their gorgeous day and witness the union of Cubans and Brits! Even the Miami weather seemed to pay tribute to both cultures - fluctuating between spicy hot sun and cooling rain! It was honestly perfect and dramatic and hilarious - just a photographer's dream!
Frankie is a dear friend of mine, as well as a super talented photographer! He and Charlotte are also my neighbors here in Venice, so I was super excited when he asked me to shoot his wedding! We got to do it at my favorite location in Miami - the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. I have been there before and always wanted to shoot a wedding there, so it was like the perfect situation! The Vizcaya property takes on all kinds of fun Renaissance influences from the architecture all the way to the gardens. Charlotte was an incredible person to photograph, I was in such awe at many of the poses she came up with and how effortlessly she commanded the presence of the camera. Frankie was equally exciting to photograph, but the real photographer gold was how easily they gazed at each other - their love is infectious and it influenced the entire day and week that followed!
I'm so delighted to have been able to experience this day with them. They're going to be having wedding number two in Los Angeles, and I'm so excited to see more adventures and memories with these incredible people in my life!
