I love shooting weddings at Wayfarers Chapel because it's obviously absolutely beautiful! It’s a smaller chapel that makes those special moments feel like fate is right there with you, witnessing something incredible. The majority of the day was running around with our incredible couple, Art & Michelle! We shot photos in Downtown Los Angeles and in Terranea Cove. At the rocks, I had the bride and the groom practically rock climbing up the cliffs (in heels for Michelle!) but it leads to this absolutely stunning lookout point!
And fun fact - Michelle loves Taco Bell and so do I! So on the drive down from doing photos to head over to the ceremony, we were all starving so we pulled into a Taco Bell and I got the cutest pictures of the bride and groom holding the Taco Bell hot sauce packets that say “will you marry me?” and “I do”! I I've always loved the Taco Bell hot sauce packets and I always say it speaks my language! So it was really cute to be able to have an opportunity to shoot a real bride and groom with those little packets.
As for the wedding, they had thirty guests and I felt like one of them, getting to sit next to the father of the bride chatting all night! It’s definitely one of the best things about shooting smaller weddings – that feeling that you’re right in the family, too! After, we did this amazing dinner at a Brazilian restaurant Downtown where it was just meat after meat after meat! The kebabs that they were serving were bigger than my head, it was so sooo delicious.
The whole day was just super fun and full of laughs because Art and Michelle are hilarious! Couples like Michelle and Art make shooting for a wedding such a delight and a breeze!
