Kate and Eli’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Engagement Session

I loved hanging out in Pittsburgh for a few days with these two! Especially having my first experience on an Amtrak train from PA to VA!  What a fun adventure! My East Coast weather angels were not on our side, but despite the blizzard and freezing rain I think we got some amazing shots!  The most serendipitous moment was that I arrived on the final night of the Winter Garden Lights display at Phipps Conservatory and it ended up being some of my favorite photos from the trip!  Kate and Eli were up for anything and the fact that I got them on the spur of the moment to get dressed up at 10pm to shoot the night before our shoot in a blizzard was awesome!

I have only been to Pittsburgh once before and we went to some of my favorite spots including the Mexican War Streets, posing at one of their 400 something bridges, and of course at Phipps Conservatory, but one of the prettiest spots was a little park right near their house.  There was something so romantic about their “bundled-up-winter-themed” shoot.  It will be a definite contrast from their Valentine’s nuptials in Las Vegas this month!  Stay tuned to see these two get hitched in a few weeks!
