Kym and Robert’s Wedding at Auberge Du Soleil in Napa Valley
Finally Kym and Robert are up on the blog! I first met Kym when she was coordinating Destination Weddings in Cabo, Mexico. I always loved working with her and we just hit it off ever since. So when she asked me to photograph her OWN wedding this year, not only was I honored, but I was SUPER excited to finally meet Robert and to see Kym as the bride for once!
They chose one of my favorite spots to get married in Napa Valley, Auberge Du Soleil, which is nestled in a private canyon and just has magical light. The ceremony is on the patio overlooking the entire valley and you don’t even need decor, just to aim the chairs towards the stunning view, because its SO beautiful. Both Kym and Robert have children and to see them all blend together like the perfect Brady Bunch was really touching to witness. I love intimate weddings like this, because usually they are very emotional and people party hard…and this was no exception:) People did not stop dancing until we got kicked out and it looked like a war zone on the dance floor by then with glow sticks and feathers and pure chaos and it was mostly due to the adults not the kids lol!
