Cortney and Vart’s Balboa Park and La Jolla Engagement Shoot
What a fun shoot I had with these two on Sunday!! I had the pleasure of finally meeting Cortney and Vart whom I was connected to through the fabulous Veronica Morales of Blue Ivy Events. I knew they would be my kind of people coming from Veronica, but when I wore a BACON t-shirt to our shoot and Cortney was like, “I have that same shirt!” right then I knew we were soul mates lol…sorry Vart! These two have been together for 9 years and even though they live in San Diego, they really know LA better, so I suggested Balboa Park and they had NEVER been! It was a stunning Fall day that felt like blazing summer and we started by the fountain, met some interesting people including the “Asian Harlem Globe Trotters” which is the only way I can describe these boys and posed with them along the way. They even spun a basketball on Cortney’s heel!, then we jumped a fence to pose on the roots of a huge tree, before taking off to hit the beach in La Jolla!
We went to the famously tall pier by the Oceanography Institute where all of the surfers were hanging out and just ran through the wet sand. Vart makes THE most ridiculously funny faces and the entire time these two were just cracking each other up. Between Vart’s dimples and Cortney’s perfect little figure, you can’t take a bad photo of either of them they are so cute! Seriously, I was laughing so hard at times I couldn’t shoot:), but I just wanted to share some of their adorable photos and say that I can’t wait until the wedding day!
