You may remember Lindsay and Chris from their engagement shoot a few months back at Pasadena City Hall and Union Station. We had such a fun day that day and I knew that their wedding was going to be a blast. Chris works on documentary films (my dream job if I wasn’t already doing my dream job:) and when I was at their house and checking out their collection of photos on their shelves there was also an Emmy statue…no big deal:) What a great home Lindsay and Chris have built together and they are such an adorable couple. They just balance each other out.
On their wedding day, at one of my favorite private clubhouses in Pasadena, we had a relaxing morning with the girls while the boys got to pre bar at the Langham Hotel nearby and shoot ridiculous photos with Sarah Natasha. Then we all pulled it together for the ceremony at Holy Family Church in Pasadena, where they had THE LARGEST group of flower girls and ring bearers I have ever seen:) Lindsay comes from a large family and each of her siblings have like 4 kids, so rounding all of the kids up was nothing short of a miracle.
Afterwards, we went back to their reception for garden cocktails and lawn games like their personalized “Lindsay and Christopher matching cornhole” game. Once the party started the dancing never stopped! My favorite highlight of the evening was the sisters’ toast, a rewritten version of Pink’s “Just Give me a Reason”…where the refrain repeated something like “Christopher is 40 and Lindsay looks 25” ha ha. I am going to FORCE my 3 sisters to sing my toast someday at my own wedding, it was amazing! Also, the kids on the dance floor, especially Lindsay’s nephew, were dancing machines and Chris’s crazy co-workers in the bar…well, you will see my favorite photo from the night below lol. The music from Jeff at VOX DJs ALWAYS makes the party never ending and Jeff, Sarah and I definitely had a couple dance-offs before the evening was finished! SO MUCH FUN!
Thank you Chris and Lindsay for including us in your special day and I hope that we continue to be there for your life’s moments and growing family in the future! Love you guys!
