I am SO glad I was able to shoot Rosy and Lawrence’s wedding! It was serendipity that made it happen and it was such a perfect, easy, fun day! I want to thank the fabulous Jillian Rose, for helping me out and being my dance partner later in the evening:)
We started the day at The Pike in Long Beach where Rosy got ready and they had their first look. We were able to sneak some photos there, (since the security guards were suckers for a new bride and groom:) before we went to Wayfarers Chapel for their ceremony. After somehow managing to shoot 16 groups of family members and a huge group shot in a record 20 minutes, we hiked down to the cove at Terranea for some gorgeous beach photos, since the sun finally came out! It was a spectacular day after all in Palos Verdes. They had their reception at the Norris Pavilion in Palos Verdes. Their 12-course Chinese banquet reception was full of hilarious moments, including games, toasting everyone, dancing, 2 wardrobe changes by Rosy, a special opera performance by one of the guests, and of course one of the groomsmen taking off his pants! Yep, “No Pants” stole the show:) My favorite part, other than rocking out on the dance floor and doing shots with Rosy at the end of the night, was seeing just how smiley Rosy was ALL DAY and how much fun she and Lawrence were having on their wedding day. You can just see the happiness on their faces in the photos! I know you two are not able to go on a honeymoon right now, but I hope you are finally getting a moment to relax and take it all in! You’re Married now!
