My only regret about this wedding is that I couldn’t stay and party all weekend with these guys! What a FUN day! Considering that Mindy and Brian only invited 30 of their closest friends and family to their Destination wedding at the Kenwood Inn and Spa, they partied all night long! After about 13 hours of shooting, I joined everyone in the pool for some relaxation and fun:) One of the best parts about this wedding, (other than the fact that the Kenwood Inn is hands down MY FAVORITE venue in all of Northern California’s wine country) was that I got to work with Maura Scarmack of Honey Darling Events. Although we are based on separate coasts, her reputation precedes her and what a small world that we finally get to work together!
Mindy and Brian had a whole weekend of good food, wine, spa treatments, dancing and hot air balloon rides planned out for their guests. I loved how simple and elegant their decor was, yet they did not forget the little details. I especially loved the boys funky socks, all of the unique paper goods and goody bags for the guests all weekend, their cute hand made signs on wood, their dictionary guest sign-in book where their guests had to circle a word wish for them as a couple, cotton candy station, cigar bar, heart sparklers for the guests, and of course their personalized table cards held up with wine corks. So cute, but see for yourself in the blog!
Thank you again Mindy and Brian for including me not only as a photographer, but as a guest on the most intimate, important event of your lives. You two deserve a wonderful long life together! And another HUGE THANK YOU to the Kenwood Inn and Spa for taking such good care of me as always!!
ps, Brian, I STILL think Mindy trumped you on her ring engraving:)
