Chris and Lindsay’s Engagement Shoot at the Pasadena City Hall and Union Station
What a fun Thursday afternoon! I first met up with Chris and Lindsay at their adorable home in Pasadena to start the day off. They just got a new puppy, Owen, so he joined in for some of the photos (which we were lucky to get him to sit still he was so excited!) Chris is a TV producer and works on documentary films, so while they were changing outfits I enjoyed looking around the house at all of their old photographs on the wall and then…noticed the HUGE Emmy Trophy just casually sitting on his shelf! No big deal or anything…:) Then they took me to the Pasadena City Hall which I was SO excited to finally shoot there. I have seen it in so many bridal photographs before and in fact it is SO popular that while we were there there were 4 other brides shooting at the same time! It was like Battle of the Brides…and we definitely won!
Afterwards, we decided to end the day in Union Station…meaningful to them, because they took the train down to San Diego on the day they got engaged and drank in the bar there (which we did as a tribute..or just because:) I LOVE visiting Union Station though…it reminds me of Venice Beach with all of the crazy characters that walk through there, but nothing compares to that art deco style. It just makes you feel like you are back in time when you are in there. Enjoy you two! Can’t wait for the wedding:)
