Aldahara and Michael have been together since they were 16 years old, so to watch them get married and see how close both of them are with their families, was really touching to see. Everyone has known each other for so long and have so many memories and ridiculously embarrassing photos and stories that I am sure it impossible to put into words how they were both feeling on their wedding day. From what I saw, once the two of them saw each other…everything was good and all of the stresses from planning the wedding and getting ready just melted away…which is how it should be:)
We started off their gorgeous day at the famous glass chapel, Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. We then went on to Terranea Resort on the bluffs to shoot more photos (which was this stunning blue backdrop that matched her sparkly stiletto heels), and then we went off to dance and party the night away at the nearby Rolling Hills Country Club. I didn’t realize until we got there, that there was a “peacock” theme to their wedding. It made the bright blue bridesmaids dresses and flower girl hair pieces all make sense with their theme. The reception had peacock feathers, peacock statues, blue and purple hues everywhere, and even the doors were carved peacocks in the glass. I knew they were going to have a great party since you were mixing Brazilians in the mix:), but with the slideshow, photo booth and non-stop dancing, I think the night was a huge success. Best wishes to you both!
