Julie and Mike’s Wedding at the St. Regis Monarch Beach
FINALLY, the long awaited blog from Julie and Mike’s AMAZING wedding at the St. Regis in Monarch Beach. These two deserve a TON of credit for the amount of work they put into making sure this wedding was super entertaining for their guests. Not only did they coordinate a choreographed first dance with their entire wedding party by taking weeks worth of lessons through the Bella Ballroom Dance Studio (perhaps the best I have ever seen!), but they had one of the most beautiful, emotional ceremonies I have witnessed, Julie had multiple wardrobe changes to keep her guests guessing:), they had a photo booth, huge dessert station and finally, saving perhaps the best for last, a LATE NIGHT Taco Truck for their dance party/rockstar guests who made it till the end! I was so excited about the taco truck that I was the first person to try one:)
I knew this wedding was going to be epic when the fabulous Laurie Davies with 5 Star Weddings and Events was involved. She always knows how to design a gorgeous ceremony and reception and to make sure that everything runs perfectly! I also had my partner in crime, Lori Yohe, with me JUST to add even more confusion to our names (Laura, Laurie and Lori:) But in all seriousness, this was one of the most touching weddings I have been to. Julie and Mike balance each other out perfectly and you can tell that Mike is always looking after Julie. I loved how the both of you mentioned similar things in your vows as well, without even planning it. THAT is a sure sign you both are on the same page:) I know you two have experience with photo shoots after viewing your gorgeous book from Taiwan:), but I hope that you can feel the emotion of your real wedding day in our photos!
