Am I the ONLY person that didn’t know about quaint little Olvera Street?  I am SO glad that Lindsey and Todd introduced me to this colorful street near downtown, full of Mexican Restaurants and cute street vendors.  We had a blast running around shooting and I even convinced Todd to buy a Lucha Va Voom Mexican Wrestling mask…which made for hilarious photos:) Next on our list was the infamous Dresden Lounge featured in the movie “Swingers”.  This bar holds a special place to them, because it was where they had their first date and both realized that life would never be the same again:)…not to mention it’s  walking distance from where they live now.  Finally, our last stop was the Los Feliz Theatre; a tribute to both of them working in the Movie Industry and another landmark close to their home.  This entire shoot was so fun and easy.  Lindsey tried to warn me about how challenging it would be to photograph Todd….LOL, but when you put those two together it’s like I am not even there!  Thanks for the tour of the city that still manages to surprise me after 11 years.  I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in San Diego!
