LP’s Renegade Photo Shoot for his band Yellowcard and his new Solo Album, “Defining Me”
First of all I have to thank the fabulous Joan Murray, my fabulous girlfriend/make-up artist, for introducing me to her insanely talented fiance Longineu Parsons III ( AKA LP). The inspiration for this shoot came from so many places, but the idea was originally born at Tasha’s Baby Shower while Joan and I competitively made designer “One-sy’s”:) I also have to thank Rick Policastro, for so eagerly willing to assist this shoot, even though we repeatedly put him in positions to get arrested all day long:)
The whole day was a BLAST though, from setting up a drum kit in the ocean, Venice Boardwalk, and the Venice Skate Park…to Trekking up to the Hollywood sign, getting booted out of the parking lot of a Production Company that has this SUPER Rad Life-size TV…TWICE, and the GRAND finally, setting up and playing LOUD in a back alleyway in Hollywood. We attracted lots of people, but thankfully NO cops!!
