Mia and Mike’s Engagement Shoot in Topanga Canyon
I can’t wait to shoot Mia and Mike’s wedding at the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse this June. It honestly is my FAVORITE venue to photograph at, and after meeting them it is the PERFECT place for them to get married. I went to their new home in Topanga Canyon this past Sunday to shoot. It was SO gorgeous outside…like 80 degrees in January! So we decided to go hike on their favorite local mountain bike trail head (armed with just a beer and a camera LOL) and just photograph along the way. Within minutes, their poodle dove right into a pile of Horse #$% and I think that was the perfect ice breaker for the shoot:) There were so many gorgeous spots to shoot along the trail and even back at their home. They honestly have this beautiful zen hideaway home. If I lived there, I would never leave! At the end of the shoot, Mike showed me how to play this gorgeous song on the piano and I was so excited to learn it that I have been practicing non-stop at home. It was just a fun, relaxing day.
