Candice and Nick’s Wedding at the stunning Montage Resort in Laguna Beach
I met Candice through my other bride/ best friend Dr. Cherlin Johnson. Both of them met in Residency and both are adventurous and not only doctors, but HOT blondes:) Total triple threats! So I knew I was in for a fun time when I met Candice and Nick. I have to say that I love how Candice and Nick did their wedding… on a Thursday with JUST close family and then the next day they relaxed in Laguna Beach and then Saturday they had all of their friends come to Malibu for a second reception. It was so chill and relaxed and like their engagement shoot a few months back, they had a “Mermaid theme” to their wedding. All of the guests had to wear aqua or some sort of blue shade and their wedding vows (written by Candice) were all about how she met Nick in the ocean while surfing and how he was her “Merman” that appeared out of the sea. Candice’s sister, Angel, officiated the wedding and everything about it was intimate and personal. I hope my wedding ceremony is like theirs one day…so beautiful. Afterwards, we had a fantastic dinner at the ever so fancy Montage Resort and Spa and then ran down for some more romping and photo-taking on the beach. Although it was overcast, this one gorgeous beam of light streaked across the sky and it was magical. I can’t wait to continue on this adventure with these two and to document their new family and all of the fun adventures I am sure these two will go on in life.
