Lejla and Steve’s Wedding at La Venta Inn
I met Lejla and Steve through another talented Photographer friend of mine that I have known for almost a decade , Damir. Damir is Lejla’s brother and owns and operates one of the best photography studios in Los Angeles called Notion Studio. So NO pressure when it came to shooting his only sister’s wedding! LOL. Coincidentally, their wedding happened to be at my FAVORITE chapel, Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes and then the party moved nearby to the quaint La Venta Inn. I had THE BEST time at this wedding. It was small and quaint and my associate Tammi Land and I were treated as guests. They met at work so they have a TON of mutual friends together and it felt like everyone knew each other. Other than the fact that it was STUNNING weather, one of my favorite parts about this night was Steve’s heartfelt speech he made to everyone. He thanked Lejla for “taking a chance on him” and he told me later on in the night that when he first met her by the water cooler and they just made small talk he would have never known that he was talking to his future wife. Life works in mysterious ways and that’s what makes it SO damn fantastic!! These two are the SWEETEST couple ever and I will cherish their thank you note and hospitality always! Thank you SO much for my spa gift (I’m cashing it in this weekend whoo hoo!) and enjoy the rest of your lives together!
