Magician David Minkin at The Biltmore LA
As a photographer, I like to think that I have some tricks up my sleeve to get the perfect result, but that really is nothing compared to my friend David Minkin who is an insanely talented and award-winning magician. I can’t imagine a more enchanting venue for magic than the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles for David's new resident show. It was such a thrill to take his portraits here. You can now find him performing two shows a night on Saturdays at this iconic hotel that was the birthplace of the Oscars and also a speakeasy during prohibition! The show will take place in a very intimate room, so every seat is close to the magic. The frescoes and murals were hand-painted by the same artist who did similar work at the Vatican and the White House and they promise to dazzle along with the show audiences are loving. David has built a secret Victorian living room inside the Corinthian Room, and everyone can join in there for an unforgettable experience!
