Cristian and Margaret! Wow!
I had the honor of capturing their wedding at the Dreams Resort in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Palm trees were dotted along this crystal clear coast where you could feel that fresh, salty air cleanse your soul and root your feet to the sandy earth. This place makes for the perfect romantic paradise.
We definitely made use of the incredible pool bar at this resort. And hey, when you find yourself on a beach...it only makes sense to make the most of it with a good game of volleyball!
There's something so serene walking along a beach with your partner. It's timeless and expands across the globe. Love these little moments together. Especially before the craziness of the rehearsal dinner!
I took the rings and placed them on this beautifully blooming plant and the angle was so satisfying to grab since we could see the carvings inside. I liked incorporating various leafy and beachy details throughout this shoot. Along with that - I am obsessed with the accessories Margaret had on her feet - what a sweet idea for a beach wedding!
The guys were so fun to shoot with as they hyped each other up! I was also very glad that no one fell off of that balcony!
Margaret's dress reminded me so much of water - or specifically better yet, a wave. Her dress was like a wave that crashed onto the shore and spilled out all around, then bunching and bubbling up as it receded. I don't know if that was purposeful, but gosh, I just really appreciate that gown on a beach! Of course then after the ceremony, it was time to break out the tunes and see some sandy moves with a live band!
This was one of my favorite shots to capture. Things had been a whirlwind all day but then them coming together to have this tender moment in the middle of it all and holding each other so close! Ahh! My heart is all mushy looking at these two!
They make this look so effortless! I love when couples are down to just jump into action with their nicest clothes like this! So so fun!
