I first met Vanessa and Mike shooting their wedding back in 2009.  I had the honor of shooting a few of their friends weddings throughout the years and being able to catch up with them time to time, but I was SO excited to find out that they are finally preggers!  We decided to do their shoot in Malibu at the Malibu Cafe, Rocky Oaks Park, and then finishing the day at El Matador Beach with all of the rock formations.  

I LOVE shooting in Malibu.  There is a special glowing, soft quality to the light there in the late afternoon that just looks ethereal, but especially now with all of the wild fires raging, the sunset had a bright orange glow and I was just drooling over how beautiful the light was! And Vanessa’s final outfit of the day, this gorgeous form fitting red dress, was to die for!

But enough about the light and her dress, can we talk about how Vanessa is 8 months pregnant and she is tinier than I am! I can only hope to look as good as she does!  Their future daughter is going to inherit some amazing genes!  But I had to post some of my favorites from yesterday’s shoot!  Congratulations to you Vanessa and Mike, you are going to be amazing parents!
