Merry Christmas to the Johnson and Christian families and congratulations on Dana and West finally getting married!!! I had to post a little “sneak peek” before the holidays from their recent wedding in Palm Springs:)

Dana is the little sister of one of my best friends, Cher, and by default was like my little sister as well over the past 17 years!  I can’t believe I used to lend her my ID and prom dresses and fast forward to 2016 that I would be her wedding photographer one day!

Literally, when Dana met West I knew this was different and that these two were a match! They traveled back and forth and made a long distance relationship look easy and were just so committed from the beginning.  THAT is true love! I also knew that if Dana had anything to do with it, that their wedding would be fabulous and of course it was!  It was like a family reunion at the Parker in Palm Springs, one of my favorite hotels, where we spent the weekend and had a White-themed rehearsal dinner, the wedding itself, and then a beautiful garden brunch at the Gene Autry residence. All of the festivities happened at the Gene Autry residence at The Parker and for those of you who don’t know the history of that man, he wrote “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and was a famous country western musician and actor and his house is an explosion of 1960’s awesomeness!  As a photographer it was a dream to photograph there.

Dana and West look like paid models!  Seriously, they are both gorgeous and blonde and Dana even had all of her bridesmaids tone their blonde hair to the same color to match in the photos…Thanks Dana!:)  Honestly,  I couldn’t take a bad photo of these two, but seeing them so happy and in love is what really makes the photos and made my year!  I have to thank my assistant Robin Randolph for taking over the party pics at the end of the night so I could cut a rug on the dance floor with all of my “sisters”.

Congratulations Dana and West!  I hope 2017 is even MORE amazing than this year was for you two!  Merry Christmas!
