Kim and Matt’s Trash the Dress shoot at Tulum and Gran Cenote in Playa del Carmen, Mexico
As I sit by the pool at Hotel La Reve in Playa del Carmen…blogging and getting my last few minutes of tanning in before the wedding day festivities begin at The Viceroy Hotel, I just wanted to show a sneak peek of our Trash the Dress shoot two days ago. It has been a dream of mine to not only see Tulum, but to swim in a cenote…so I got to check a bunch of things off my bucket list during this shoot:) Kim and Matt organized a tour for all of us to learn about the Mayan Civilization and then jump into the cenotes to relax and shoot some romantic photos. There are literally thousands of cenotes here in the Riviera Maya, and we are lucky that we happened across a very picturesque one with perfect lighting. Kim threw a white sun dress on that she brought for this shoot, and Matt put a suit on, and they just jumped right in! The water was perfectly clear and turquoise and green. We attempted to do some underwater shots, but it is WAY harder than it looks…especially with my waterproof point and shoot….but we got some fun ones:) Enjoy!
