Michellee and Jason’s Destination Wedding at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace in Punta Cana, Dominican
I can’t believe that only a week ago I was sipping Pina Coladas on the beach at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with the most fun crew of people to celebrate Jason and Michellee’s wedding! I’m not complaining as I blog this in my bikini in LA:), but time flies when you’re having fun! I felt like I have having a family reunion at this wedding since I had photographed Jason’s sister’s wedding (Autumn) in Cabo, Mexico a few years ago. I HEART the Driver Family! Randomly, I knew Michellee through mutual girlfriends, so when they got engaged it was meant to be that I would photograph it:)
As destination weddings go, they are always a bit crazy and full of surprises, but I love diving right in. From helping out the bridesmaids with their make-up, to sprinting a half mile back and forth in the MASSIVE resort to photograph both the groomsmen and bridesmaids getting ready, to the groomsmen having to cover the DJ that flaked on the wedding, to playing beach volleyball and dancing and gambling every night…It was pure insanity and ridiculously fun and I don’t think Jason and Michellee would have changed a thing. I think their Rehearsal Dinner antics may be the most ridiculous I have ever seen, including an ass-slapping contest that rivals any other….but you’ll have to click on the link to view those crazy pics!
Jason and Michellee, I am SO happy for you both. You two make the best couple and I hope you had a relaxing rest of your vacation and that we will continue our adventures in Venice Beach this Summer with the whole crew! Miss you guys!
