Anida and Patrick’s wedding may have been one of THE MOST beautiful weddings I have seen.  I mean how could you go wrong, the couple looked like super models, the backdrop was the oasis view of the Hideaway Country Club overlooking the lake surrounded by palm trees, rolling green golf course, and mountains, and OF COURSE Cathy O’ Connell with Celebrations of Joy was their wedding coordinator…this to me was the perfect cocktail of FABULOUS!  I had been looking forward to shooting this wedding with Cathy for a long time, because I knew that she always creates a gorgeous setting.  I also want to thank Jillian Rose for being my right-hand gal and helping me shoot this wedding.  Always such a pleasure shooting with you!

My top 5 favorite moments from the night were:

1. Watching Anida, her sister, and the flower girls making daisy crowns while they were getting their make-up done…I felt like I could picture them as little girls sitting there and doing that.

2. The VERY well done, hilarious and extremely touching ceremony done by Patrick’s sister…There wasn’t a dry eye in the house and she had interviewed their wedding party and surprised the couple with their answers…hysterical

3. Riding around the property on golf carts like we were in a James Bond movie..Anida was hanging on the back of Patrick’s with a glass of champagne and we were racing after them like Paparazzi…so fun!

4. Their first dance…So well done and adorable.  I didn’t realize when I had him lift her during the photos that he was a seasoned pro at it!

5. Their photo booth photos…and the crazy hairy-chested guest who photo bombed them….you know who you are:)

Thank you Cathy, Anida, and Patrick for such a beautiful, fun evening.  I hope you cherish the photos for many lifetimes:)
