I feel like it was just last week that I photographed this wedding on Halloween and now there is already Christmas music playing on the radio! Danni and Javier decided to exchange their vows at the stroke of midnight on Halloween and their reception went until 5am! It was definitely the first wedding I have ever shot with zero daylight, but after our infamous zombie engagement shoot, I knew it was going to be a fun wedding:)
Nesly Palacios, owner of Nesly’s Floral Design and Events, was behind all of the decor at the ceremony, from the blood red roses and lighting, to the hand painted skulls as the centerpieces. Each table had red and black-themed frames with the titles to horror movies, spiders, skulls and Dracula/Edgar Allen Poe books stacked as decor. I loved how she was able to tie everything together. One of my favorite photos I have taken this year was when Danni and Javier held the skulls up in front of their faces. LOVED IT! But my favorite part of the night was their choreographed Tango first dance..You guys were SO SEXY!
I also want to hugely thank Rick Policastro for being SUCH a trooper and staying up all night to assist me till 5am on Halloween. Danni and Javier, we had such a blast and are so honored that we were a part of your intimate wedding. Congratulations, you guys are finally married!
