I have to say that Senta is THE HARDEST working bride I have ever encountered:) When I showed up to the Smog Shoppe in Culver City on Saturday, she was in jeans hard at work setting up and making sure every detail was perfect. The Smog Shoppe, alone, without decor is an amazing venue. There is so much cool stuff on the shelves and vintage knickknacks that I HAD to post so many photos, because there was just SO much to photograph. Senta spent time going to flea markets and buying old postcards for the sign in table, containers to hold the candy at the candy table, and bottles to use as vases for the wildflowers on the tables. Among the many details, she had a cupcake tower, a cute little dollhouse to hold the gift cards, old vintage spoons for table numbers, vintage cans to tie on strings to the end of the Porche, and my personal favorite…her favors were candy cigarettes made to look like the old-fashioned brands of cigarettes…a tribute to her husband Rob.
When the guests arrived, they were greeted by cocktails and a Barber Shop Quartet. The ceremony, set in the lush, succulent covered terrace area, was a perfect backdrop; simple, yet elegant. It also had so many cool textures to shoot what I would like to refer to as “speed formals”:) Senta and Rob were in such a hurry to eat, drink and be merry that we spent only 15 minutes total taking photos! But as you will see, they are SO cute! The rest of the night was dinner and dancing…and who can forget the CUPCAKES! They were such a huge hit..I had three myself! Congratulations you two! I think your wedding was absolutely perfect!
