Shannon and Ron’s Wedding at the Wayfarers Chapel and Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes
Shannon, Ron, his two sons, and I had a total blast on their wedding day. Considering the entire wedding consisted of 6 people (the minister and myself included), I knew that my role was a very important one:) I basically just hung out with them all day and took photos…helped Shannon in her dress, put on their boutonierres, went hiking through cactus and bushes, you know…the usual:) They are such a funny couple. They crack themselves up constantly and it was such good energy. The weather was spectacular and we were lucky to get that amazing blue water and to see dolphins from Terranea where they were staying. Their ceremony was at the famous Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes and they had a cellist and pianist play the theme song to the Last of the Mohicans…SO beautiful that I had to You Tube it and listen to it over and over while I was editing their photos LOL. We didn’t get an amazing sunset, but we DID find a huge firepit to take some late evening photos…what a perfect end to the day. I hope you guys enjoyed your dinner at the Sky Room in Long Beach.
